Ever since Allison was a little girl, she dreamed of a wedding at this venue in Lumberton, North Carolina.  

When you meat a couple who are deeply in love, that energy radiates off of them and everyone in the room knows that they are the perfect fit.  This accurately describes Allison + Daniels relationship.  

This Saturday in April was absolutely perfect weather wise.  It was that right temperature where it wasn’t too hot where everyone sweats, but it was bright and sunny which provided gorgeous images and video.  When we arrived to the venue, it was like we were an extension of their family.  We had met with Allison to do her bridal portraits (which turned out incredible) and we were able to pick up where we left off from that session.

Their first look was such a special moment.  Daniel was impatiently awaiting in the bridal sweet with their gorgeous son baby Jay.  When she was ready, he turned his back as she walked in to touch him on the shoulder.  Once he turned around he pulled her close into her, holding for for minutes.  It was if time had stood still for them to experience this moment together, one of the last before they became husband and wife.

After the ceremony, we proceeded to cocktail hour, kids playing with giant building blocks, buckets and bubbles; the adults mingling enjoying the food and drinks of the evening.  Dinner was actually followed by a smores table and pit that they had set up, which was a genius idea!  We ended the evening with a sparkler send off, where we go to take some pretty awesome long exposure photos creating hearts in the photographs with sparklers.

Allison and Daniel, you two are an inspiring couple, and we cannot wait to see baby Jay grow up into a fine young man, just like Daniel
